Jesus is The light. The Apostle John declared it. The Prophet Isaiah spoke of His coming. Jesus, himself confirmed it. He is the light which dispels darkness. He is the light that cleanses, heals, and guides. He alone is the salvation that the Priest Simeon spoke of in Luke 2:30-32. 30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, 31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; 32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.Those who have accepted Jesus as their savior carry His light wherever they go. Jesus says that His light will shine through them. He tells His children to, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." John 3:19b assures, "that light is come into the world." Jesus says, "Abide in me, and I in you." John 15:4 It is my desire that this story encourages its readers to rejoice in the Good News that Jesus is The Light of The World. May His children celebrate His love, His goodness, His glory each day by raising their arms in worship and praise, singing halleluiah, halleluiah, praise Jesus!
