"Was it just me, or did Juliet sound completely out of it when she called us this afternoon?" Johnathan wanted to know. "She definitely sounded different." JoAnna replied, solemnly. "Guys, I get the feeling that Juliet isn't having us come over tonight so we can laugh and have a good time." Staying silent in the backseat, I knew that JoAnna was right. As Juliet's boyfriend, I could tell when something was wrong. By the tone of her voice on the phone tonight, I could tell that something was definitely up.
