Publisher's Synopsis
What I think about land, as a person of African American and Native American descent, is: there is an outstanding debt America owes to all on whose backs this great country - land of the free, home of the brave - was built. Black people never received the 40 acres and a mule they were promised. Native first nation tribes that survived their American holocaust have continually had to defend what little corners of territory they were granted as treaty after treaty has not been honored. Some form of reparation for the host of social ills leftover from things like slavery and indian genocide would just be doing the right thing...righting some wrongs. Don't you agree? This is a very opinionated Green Flame Omnimedia Slim: Life's Defining Moments in Slender Volumes. We exist at a time when each choice matters.
