That day, I took the plane with Mom and Dad to the City of Light. On the plane, Dad said, "A long, long time ago, high up in the sky was an ice lake. The water in the ice lake flowed and flowed down to the City of Light, then to the ocean and back to the sky again."
In the three-thousand-year-old City of Light, there were ancient flagstone-paved alleys, narrow and maze- like. Giant cattle roamed towards me. I stood against the wall and closed my eyes to make way for the herd. Dogs, pigs, and sheep roamed everywhere. On the roof, a monkey jumped suddenly and I was startled.
