Publisher's Synopsis
Rachael's aunt Myrtle, along with her two cronies Moondance and Dora, have decided to set up a fortunetelling booth in Dora's store. Not wanting to miss out, Ralph, Rachael's resident ghost, deserts his landlady and joins the fun across the road. The fortunetelling endeavor is a huge success and the three women are asked to host a private function. But there's a catch. The client, a Mrs. Brown-Hendricks, has had several attempts made on her life and wants Moondance, in the guise of fortuneteller, to examine each guest and figure out who the would-be killer is. Unfortunately, before any answers can be unearthed, the hostess is found dead, supposedly from drinking the tea the three older ladies have brewed for the party. Now it's up to Rachael to use her psychic skills to find out what happened to the unfortunate woman, and in turn get her aunt and friends off the hook for murder. Unfortunately, her power has been mysteriously weakening over the past several months and she worries that the loss might be due to her budding romance with her new boyfriend, David. If that is the case, could she give up her abilities for love? Or vice versa? Rachael needs to figure out what she wants, and solve the murder, too, because if she makes the wrong choice, she could be the murderer's next victim.
