Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from The Geology of the Country Around Exeter

Sheet 325 of the Geological Survey map embraces an area of 216 square miles in Devonshire, of which about 22 square miles in the south-westem comer of the area are drained by the River Teign and its tributaries, and about ten agate miles on its eastern border by the head streams of the iver Otter. The remaining area is watered by the River Exe and its tributaries the Clist, Culm, and Creedy; of these the Clist alone has a catchment basin confined to the limits Of the map.
