Sir John Dunbar, of h'iochrum, his only son, succeeded him: and there is a precept from the Chancery for serving him heir to his father. His uncle, George Dunbar, Parson of Cumnock, was his tutor-in-law during his minority; and Sir John, with consent of his curators, 1521, married Nicola, daun-hter of Sir Alex ander Stewart, of Garlies, and died in 1543, in the ?ower of his awe, leaving issue a son and successor.
