Publisher's Synopsis
A woman who used to be Amish is murdered, and her brother Jacob is arrested for the crime. The new detective in town is not used to the local Amish community, and he does not get much help from those he questions. He turns to elderly Amish widow, Ettie Smith, for help.
To prove Jacob's innocence, Ettie must investigate the life of the deceased. Meanwhile, the detective finds more evidence against Jacob to support a conviction. Can Ettie uncover the real murderer in time to save Jacob from a lifetime in jail?
