Publisher's Synopsis
Clarice -Reese- Jordan is a hardworking, successful black woman who has never really wanted anything outside of her own company and a man that could remain loyal. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Travis, and owns an Accounting Firm; everything appears to be going in the right direction or so she thought. After leaving work early to give Travis an afternoon quickie, Reese walks into her home to find the unthinkable. Reese decides it's time to move on from her husband and his many indiscretions, but soon finds that it isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Travis will stop at nothing to try to get his wife back. Will Reese ever be able to escape Travis, despite his many attempts to remain in her life? Or will she come to realize that there is no such thing as loyalty when working to be successful?
