Chicken Little & The Acorn is a very old folk tale with a moral. When Chicken Little is hit on the head with an acorn and believes the world is coming to an end, she travels to warn the king that the sky is falling. On her way she conveniences an array of birds that this is true. Her hysteria conveniences all that it is absolutely true and without further proof they follow her to tell the king. At the end they meet Foxy Moxie who is a lot smarter than this flock of feathered friends and tricks them. Showing that you should not believe everything that you're told and that you should learn to think for yourself. Versions of this story go back more than 2500 years. It is always an enjoyable story for most any age. Told in flowing rhythmic rhyme by the author R.F. Gilmor and delightfully illustrated by Eugenia Meli this is a version that will thrill young readers and delight storytellers alike.
