Publisher's Synopsis
A collection of Short stories and Novelettes based on fantasy and semi autobiographical events. Keith Matthews creates characters and worlds to talk and laugh about the love of family, the joys of friendship, the heartache of lovers and the difficulties of life with disability. Keith Matthews was a vastly talented actor, musician, theatre director, performed playwright and charity bookshop manager. He performed in many plays and his artistic career lasted over forty five years. As well as being an expert on the UK radio game show Just a Minute (on which he contributed to two published books) he also found time to write a large number of plays, sitcom episodes, poems, short stories and novel length works. 'Fiction and Fact' is the first of a number of works that show his talent, his deep understanding of the human psyche and his very rude and raucous sense of humour! He picks you up when you are down and makes you think throughout. His writing is honest, caring and sensitive as well as poignant. Although Keith is sadly no longer with us he leaves a vast wealth of beautiful and at times hilarious writing which begins with 'Fiction and Fact.' A tribute to him and his talent.
