On the One Hundredth Day of School, a most extraordinary student joins the boys and girls of Room 228. Their regular lessons are transformed in his presence, and before long the kids are flying airplanes through the Florida sky, racing cars along sprawling roadways, and designing a tower to touch the Full Moon. The class takes on new meaning as the kids learn how to think big and build even bigger.
