For now.While searching for supplies in a remote town, Zoe, now eighteen, and the Zombie Response Team from San Antonio, Texas find themselves far away from Sanctuary Base, and the town overrun with zombies, a few of which are the cannibalistic runners that will eat other zombies. To make room for the survivors, Zoe and her twenty year old boyfriend Zachary volunteer to remain behind, only to discover more survivors who live on a farm a few miles outside of town. Ringing a church bell each morning to keep the zombies in the center of town, these survivors have built a stable life for themselves on their farmThings seem peaceful, but not all of these survivors are happy to have the zombie girl and her beau in their midst, and plans are hatched to deal with her while she and Zachary await rescue.But, on a neighboring farm, right across the creek that divides them, something truly sinister watches, something far worse than the thousand plus zombies that haunt the town only a couple of miles away.
