Each day lists verses and chapters from the Bible to read, which will take you through the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice in one year. Readings are listed each day from the Old Testament history, poetry, proverbs, prophets, and New Testament history and letters. In this way, you will be able to read portions of the entire Bible every day, rather than only one portion for days or weeks on end. Along with the Bible Readings are prayer starters. A four-month cycle is presented on: love, the armor of God, assorted verses on prayer, and praying for family members by way of Proverbs 31. Every four months this cycle is repeated. In the back are memory verses. They are arranged according to subjects. Some are individual verses, while others are entire chapters. They are from the King James Version of the Bible.
