Logician spoke up then. "Thirty-one and I discovered another door to our world. Except, it was not our world, but another." "You were in another cubicle?" Stormer asked. "No," Logician replied. "We found ourselves in a world of tremendous color. It was a new world." "And when we looked up into the sky," Thirty-one continued, "we saw a single star." Stormer let out his breath. "And it all just happened-" "Not instantaneously," Logician cut in, as if guessing Stormer's thought. The idea of a Thinker being able to second-guess him was a troubling one indeed. "We seemed to have lost this world suddenly. But before we found ourselves in the new world, we seemed to be moving-somehow-as if in a dream. When I realized that I was, in fact, no longer moving, I was at that instant in the new world. And that is when I felt curiously healthy once again, as when last in our own world. And it is my opinion that we should all go there at once."
