Publisher's Synopsis

Red is the story of late Private First Class Harry (Bud) M. Threlkled, Jr. who fought in WW2 and survived the Battle of the Bulge. He was a resident of Carrsville; a small river town in Western Kentucky. Bud left with his family a series of WW2 memorabilia, pictures, v-mails (veteran mail), letters and etc. written out to his parents, friends back home and his brother Charles who was also a WW2 soldier. The letters, which were written during some of the most significant battles of the war, date from the beginning to the very end of his service. In addition to detailing his travels from England, France, Belgium and Germany, Threlkeld also describes his reflections on his life before the war and the faith he had throughout. Written and arranged by Alexa Black, his story will be brought to life through the letters he left behind
