Publisher's Synopsis
An ex-soldier becomes a one-man crime wave, quickly graduating from ram raiding to armed robbery and worse. Metal theft and pick pocketing drain police resources, which are already compromised by an officer being shot. In the second of the Jim Bennett trilogy, he finds himself challenged professionally and emotionally as Welford descends once more into chaos.
