Publisher's Synopsis
Rome tried to take control of Britain in a war that would last for over a hundred years and still they would not take Scotland. Why would they do such a thing? There they found Berzerkers so insane in battel that even the Roman soldiers feared them. To top it off, there was no APPARENT reason for the wars. Some tried to suggest that the wealth of minerals pushed them but new evidence shows that not to be the case. What they wanted was a stepping stone to the great mineral deposits of North America. Phoenicians were made powerful by the wealth of North America and so were the Greeks. It was Romes time.
