Mid twenty-first century Britain is a very dark place, where economic and social breakdown has led to a single-party state isolated from the rest of the world. Law is enforced by the State Security Force, with all opposition to the Government brutally put down. Against this background, 'the Voice of the People' is an underground resistance group struggling to gather sufficient support to challenge Robert Broughton and his Britain party, and investigative journalist Eddie Thompson is their greatest propaganda asset. As he pushes for ever more sensational stories in support of the cause, he finds himself on the wrong side of a vengeful system. Not even he is prepared for what he finds on the other side.
