Ten years ago, two children never made it home from school. The police thought they caught the killer. They were wrong. As the ten year anniversary looms, the real murderer begins to kill again, and he meticulously covers his tracks. However, an amateur private detective with demons of his own and a penchant for bad decisions has decided to take the case. Once he begins to ask the right questions, the killer decides to put a stop to the investigation, one way or another. The victims are never coming home, and Lincoln Pierce will have to fight to keep the ones he loves from being added to the growing list of victims of a deranged psychopath.
