Publisher's Synopsis
This is the biomythography of Veronica Pursé-Coutts. We know of her because of her notorious novels, the charges of plagiary, libel and mere obscenity; her outrageous behaviour on chat-shows; her claims to be the love-child of Aleister Crowley and thus the Whore of Babalon incarnate; her well documented part in the liberation of Paris; her own fraught career as an actress and her long-term delight in being something of a high class slapper; and not least her own (equally well-documented ) claim to being the first Englishwoman to have trans-human sex in Low Earth Orbit. But few of us know that her mad career began in the spring of 1938, in Germany, when the England team beat the Germans 6-2 in their white and glistening Olympic stadium, before the entire Nazi hierarchy. She was 18 at the time, and the mistress of one of the England footballers.
