Make Money Writing explains the key elements of how to make a living while freelance writing. It covers everything from the types of pieces magazines (online and print) are looking for, how to contact editors, and how to start your business. This is something I've been doing for over fifteen years. I've actually been freelance writing (fiction, nonfiction, and poetry) for over thirty, but had a regular job for half that time. Many of those years, I was freelancing part time, while working as the Editor-in-Chief of several commercial and business-to-business magazines. So, I've been on both sides of the desk: acquisitions as an editor, and pitching as a freelancer. I know this business well.
