Alaska is the home of vast wildernesses, towering mountains, ferocious animals, and strong rugged independent people who value independence and endure hardship to live their lives on their own terms. Petrov and Yurik were two such men. They were trappers who survived by trapping animals and selling their hides. Life was good until something or someone started releasing the animals caught in their trap lines. The brothers set a trap for the thief and killed it, unleashing a force which ultimately endangered lives and infrastructure in America, China, Russia, and Australia. Were these terrorist aliens, prehistoric creatures, or some government designed soldiers wrecking our infrastructure? The Clan, isolated for over 200 years was outraged over the death of one of its members. The Clans leader, their Patriarch, recovered his son's body leaving death and destruction in his wake. The war began. Neither side understood the other.
