You willinterview relatives, find all the birth, marriage and death records of known family and even read census records from 1940 back through 1790. Next you will learn how to research most of the US wars (including names of the enemy). You will learn how to search old fratenal organizations along with old newspapers. That done, you will be ready for your first genealogy trip to ye old coursehouse that holds your ancestors' records. In Volume 2, you will learn how to research colonial records and Europe all the way back to Medieval times.
