Peer pressure, bullies and the power to control the universe. Most teenagers will never have to contend with all of these problems, but not Oscar Scott Armstrong. Since he found the Stone of Light bubbling in Bender's Pond, his life will never be the same. Oscar will go from bench warmer on his high school baseball team to possibly the next ruler of the cosmos. As if he does not have enough problems, two very different alien forces are seeking to gain back the power of The Stone. Both are also more than willing to use whatever means necessary to succeed. The Stone of Light will take you on a journey that stretches from one end of the universe to a small town on planet earth, where Oscar soon discovers his want to impress his father is a small issue when compared to the fate of the world he knows and the ones just beyond his imagination.
