Publisher's Synopsis

Waii and the Godstars is a view of human life after radical fundamentalism launches a viral war which wipes the earth clean of humanity except for the isolated islands of the Pacific Ocean. Here the islanders still live as they have always lived - with their hands and skills upon the water; but a secret kept by one man, Lonely Gull, threatens to upset the ruling elite. The gods overhead are men like themselves and only their machines make them gods. When the gods come and take the Son of Gull, renamed Waii since he was granted the title of King of Ha Waii, the family of Gull returns from their new land to find wives for his remaining sons. Life goes on as overhead the gods fight their own battles not unlike the final battle that Gull faces with his earthly enemy.
