When love becomes a game everyone involved loses... What started as a chance meeting as teenagers and grew into love, turned into something ugly when love become a competition to see who could hurt who more. Jake knew he was in love with Trina from the moment he first laid eyes on her. He was young and naive to the ways of the opposite sex. Jake knew that he would have Trina for himself one day, but at the present moment Jake was more concerned with living out his dreams of being the next Scarface. First he would get the money, then he would get the power, and after that he would get the ladies. Jake was still working on step 1 of the Scarface rules to success.... Trina was 16 years old when she first met Jake. Trina had lived a very experienced and promiscuous 16 years. She'd been in relationships with much older men since the age of 13. She didn't even bother to deal with boys her own age. Trina only dated men. When she met Jake she used him as a toy to play with for fun. She had no plans to ever have sex with him or be in a relationship of any kind with him. She played games with him for a whole summer, but somewhere along the lines things changed and Trina found herself falling hard for Jake. The minute that she fell for Jake he was out to get revenge on her for playing him all summer. He cheated on her to get revenge for her playing with him. When Trina found out she cheated on him as a way to get back at him. This started a process that went on well into their adult years. They constantly loved each other just to end up hurting one another. Throughout all of the trials, tribulations, and cheating the one thing that remained in tact was their friendship. They were best friends and regardless of whatever else was happening in their lives they always had each others backs and that was more important than anything. As Trina and Jake grew older they knew that the day would come when they would have to make the final decision to be a couple and continue to hurt one another or just be friends. Will Jake and Trina take one last shot and risk losing a lifelong friendship in the pursuit of love?
