Publisher's Synopsis
Jared Jones, a popular radio announcer, loses his father to a sudden heart condition and finds himself grieving and alone. When the grief hits him full force one night as he stands alone in his kitchen, a man by the name of Evan who claims to have "spiritual authority" appears to him. Evan helps Jared decide that what he really needs in his life is a family of his own. Shortly after his encounter with "the spiritual authority," Jared meets two women. Chloe is a single mom with an amazing child, Ian, who has a heart defect of his own. Ian needs surgery and Jared feels the urge to help. Abigail is a fiery writer whose first book has gained national recognition. Jared is torn between the two women, but knows he has to choose. After fumbling through his relationships and making as many mistakes as possible, Jared finally realizes that he cannot make such decisions on his own so he asks God to help him turn things around.
