Alex Stringer is missing. So is his motorcycle and over $8000 of Boy Scout money. Stringer's boss, Stringer's sister, and the treasurer of the local Boy Scout unit individually turn to Sheriff Jim Crawford. Crawford is sure Stringer will return when the money runs out. A simple matter of embezzlement. Then a body is found in an abandoned building. Suddenly, there are secrets and deceptions that Crawford and his deputies must sort to find the truth.
