Publisher's Synopsis

Assistant Director John Killian has been hired by both the FBI and Homeland Security to make sure what happened during the 911 incidents does not happen again. Their instructions were to make sure our agencies work together and share everything. Having just returned to California to settle his affairs in order for the move to DC he receives a call for his new bosses regarding problems brewing along the border between California and Mexico. Killian, as he prefers to be called, ends up heading up a task force involving an alphabet soup mix of agencies. Drugs, guns and explosives are involved plus cash lots of cash. During the case he experiences an other personal loss and seems to find another. There is no doubt one of the cartels are involved. A report from one of the confidential informants (CI) says the cartel has come up with a new and they think a fool proof way of moving their 'poison' into the states. Killian and his team knows they have to put an end to the unknown plan.
