Publisher's Synopsis
Four young women, old college chums, decide to rent a rural manor house for two weeks. The house is reputed to be haunted. They believe the caretaker couple are creating the apparitions they encounter, but soon determine the beings are real. They become enamored by the various mystical residents and engage in sexual activities with them, some of which might be considered devious. The owner of the manor, Major Hartley, complicates the situation by falling in love with Emma, leader of the group. The residents of the nearest town believe the rumors and stories about the manor house and soon believe the women must be witches, since no ordinary person could spend more than one night in that house. This is an intriguing story about sex and the occult.
