Publisher's Synopsis
Veronica Lanster goes on a long awaited vacation to North Carolina with her husband and two children only to find out that her world has crumbled from beneath her feet. Steve does not love her any more. Her new journey begins with an inability to eat, crying herself to sleep at night, and praying that she would not wake up in the morning. She slowly pieces her life back together as Emma and Karen, her fellow dental hygienists, brace for the impact of their impending divorces as well. The new band of thirty-something, divorced girls join forces to form the D club. They learn to adapt to this new reality and it eventually includes dating. They are safer if they stick together as they dive into the murky waters of lawyers, pilots, swingers, and men that are less than truthful when participating in online dating. Names and places have been changed, but the stories are too true.
