That future is nearly shattered when in her third year of Mage School; she is told she must do better or she will fail. Her inability to control the Mage fire could cost her the future she so desperately wants, and even could cost her, her life. Airlyn Star Burst met with a friend to take a large order for plants at the Mage School. The ex-advisor to the human High Council never dreamed the perfect tool to help his fellow Star elves was about to be placed in his unemotional hands. However the fiery peasant he met was not the image he had in mind as the inheritor of a great name. He soon learns nothing is what it seems, when it comes to his new student. Evil lurks in the shadows, tearing away at the foundations of Bellathea. At every turn, an instrument of darkness uses every opportunity to remove Airlyn from his path. The problem Avorn Sun Gatherer keeps running into is Airlyn's new student. She defies his magic, and challenges his plans. Yet his all is not lost he can still have Bellathea crumbling at his feet if he can capture her, the last Moon Song.
