Publisher's Synopsis
Eddie Jacobs was always afraid. Who could blame him when he was tall, gangly with thick glasses? At the age of 13 he could already see that his hairline was receding! But now he was supposed to start High School--skipping middle school, to be surrounded by bigger and meaner kids. But then the strangest thing happens; a boy that is even weirder than him shows up dressed in strange clothing and speaking in a strange way. Eddie decides to do something that he would normally be too shy to do; he decides to befriend the new boy. And from there Eddie and Matteo begin an adventure of magic, and a journey through worlds that are similar in many ways but quite strange in others.
