The 80s obsessed BFFs decide to finally prove to their classmates that they're not total losers by getting super-hot dates for prom. After all of their date-finding schemes fail miserably, Molly and Ally decide to spy on the popular girls for the 411 on fitting in. When two of the star football players ask them to prom and they are befriended by the school's most popular posse, the girls believe their day has finally arrived.
