Publisher's Synopsis
Having lived for two years in West Africa and two years in Mainland China, this book is my honest assessment of what I encountered while living and traveling throughout Ghana, West Africa. "At Home! Abroad" walks you through my experiences which were happy, sad, angry, confusing, enlightening, spiritual, awesome and amazing, as well as educational. It discusses economic opportunities, youth empowerment, social responsibility, mentoring, racism and race relations, sexism, male/female relationships, and even polygamy. It is my prayer that "At Home! Abroad" will inspire Black men, women and children, born and raise throughout the Diaspora, to connect or reconnect and engage Africa while traveling or living for extended periods of time in the Motherland.
