Larkspur and his trusty sidekick, Fontainebleau, are in pursuit of the crystal ring stolen by someone other than his alluring nemesis, Count Zoltan Apponyi. Earthly matters take precedent when Larkspur's step-niece, Lucinda, runs off after the darkly handsome Quentin Thomas.
