Travel along with Mikmoh, the young field mouse from Cameroon, Africa as he embarks on adventures meeting new friends ... and foes. Mikmoh gets more than first place when he attempts to beat his sister Sunfirah in a game of ultimate make believe. When a United Nations Relief Crew airplane visits Cameroon to deliver aid in a terrible draught, Mikmoh becomes trapped on board while pretending to be a pilot. He is forced to leave his home, not knowing where he is bound or if he'll ever see his family again. After a harrowing emergency landing, Mikmoh meets Miriam the Missouri field mouse and Rapavi the magpie. Together they attempt to save their new foreign friend from the thugs of the mouse town of Isadora and the creatures of Firefly Field. If Miriam and Rapavi can protect Mikmoh from the dangers that surround them, they may even be able to help him find his way home.
