Publisher's Synopsis
Journal of Consciousness Exploration & Research ("JCER," http: //www.jcer.com) is a publication in which scientists, philosophers and other learned scholars publish their research results and express their views on the nature, origin and mechanism of consciousness. In doing so, we hope that one day we will be able to arrive at a genuine science of consciousness. This is JCER Volume 1 Issue 6 first published in September 2010. It is entitled "Various Aspects of Consciousness & Nature of Time Continued" and contains following Articles: (1) Consciousness, Mind and Matter in Indian Philosophy; (2) Interactions among Minds/Brains: Individual Consciousness and Inter-subjectivity in Dual-Aspect Framework; (3) Liberation and Its Constraints: A Philosophical Analysis of Key Issues in Psychiatry; (4) The Great Divide That Separates Humans from Animals; and (5) 'Conventional time t' versus 'Rhythmic Time T' (Two Faces of One Mystery); and (6) Eminent Entities: Short Accounts of Some Major Thinkers in Consciousness Studies. It further contains 1 Commentary, 1 Response to Commentary and 5 Book Reviews.
