Author
After successfully writing books for his two oldest sons, author Joe Garces returns with a new story dedicated to his third and youngest child, Ryan. Ryan the Pirate follows up the highly successful, Garrett the Firefighter and Tyler the Cowpoke as the final installment in a series of adventure books based on, and dedicated to, Joe's three young boys. A graduate of Southern Utah University and a former elementary school teacher, Joe is now a firefighter and arson investigator for the City of Oxnard Fire Department. Joe and his fantastic wife, Taira, live in Santa Paula, CA with their three boys Garrett, Tyler, and of course, Ryan.

Bethaney Abercrombie received a degree in art education from Brigham Young University, and a master's degree in art education from Northern Arizona University, which prepared her for the years she taught junior high school art. She now enjoys her time as a stay-at-home mom and foster mom, living with her amazing husband and five beautiful children in Gilbert, AZ.
