Publisher's Synopsis
Our story about Bats happened one hot July summer night. My wife, children and I were all in bed, just about to go to sleep when all of a sudden, my wife shook me and says: "There's a Bat in the house!" Slowly opening my eyes in the dark of night, just returning from the all expected nocturnal slumber... I said something like: "What?" as if I was ready to fall back to sleep. She repeated: "There's a Bat in the house!" This time she got my attention... As I began to hear a whirling sound just above our heads as we lay upon our bed! I thought for a moment, as she said: "What are you going to do about it?" I replied with something like: "I'll take care of it." as I got out of bed and left the room. Now she must have thought: "Where's he going?"
