He couldn't take his eyes off of her hair. He had a drawing assignment from his high school teacher. The breeze blew and lifted the silken strands in every direction. He was trying to remember the colors sparkling in the sunlight. It looked like liquid fire! She would be entering high school this fall as he was headed to college. Even though they were four years apart, she talked to him like an equal. He couldn't figure out why he was so 'drawn' to her. He hoped it was because he wanted to see if he could capture the coppers and golds of her hair on paper. But why was his heart pounding so hard?
