Publisher's Synopsis
Written book - "Harry and Richard - One good deed," the first in an exciting series of adventure stories for children. The stories, starting with "Harry and Richard - One good deed," will teach children a number of lessons by way of using parables. In this particular book and following books, the parables will be used as a means of explaining that if you do nice things for people out of generosity and you are not necessarily obligated to do so, you will most likely be rewarded, either directly or indirectly. The main characters are twins, Harry and Richard, two everyday schoolboys who do a good deed for an old man in a restaurant, by buying him lunch. In return, the old man whose name is Rubin, tells the twins his life story. He then gives the boys a map and explains that it reveals the location of a secret hidden treasure. Rubin disappears and Harry and Richard authenticate the map with the help of their father Dr. Ralph, and his best friend Hank, a senior policeman. The story then proceeds to an exciting search for the mysterious treasure.
