Publisher's Synopsis
An expedition is digging at Lukka Oasis in search of a lost civilisation. But when valuable gold coins are uncovered, the men are massacred by their Arab bearers, and only a woman escapes. When a party of three legionnaires decides to desert from Post D, each has his own good reason for doing so. Their first destination: Lukka Oasis. But in escaping from the Legion post, they inadvertently set fire to it. What follows is a fight for survival in the desert, with danger and death stalking all parties involved...
