Buddy, a black Maine Coon cat, gives an account of his unique life, which includes a near-death experience, among other things, in this unusual story. In his tale, only the cats talk, and he tries to figure out the comings and goings of humans and other animals. As a kitten, Buddy's first encounter with another cat includes Mr. Hissy, an ornery, old cat belonging to his new human caretakers. Laugh along when Buddy discovers that parts of his body are missing after going to the vet and when he recounts multiple hunting escapades. Follow Buddy through his adventures with his sister, Sissy, their arduous move from North to South, and the antics of his caretakers as he shares life's experiences from a feline point of view.
