Israel Zangwell (1864-1926) was a writer and lecturer, traveling in the United States, through Great Britain, Ireland, Holland, and to Jerusalem. He took a great interest in Zionism. His Mantle of Elijah, about imperialism and the political problems connected with it, was widely read.
