Publisher's Synopsis
To truely understand terrorism, one must observe historic incidents that occurred causing mass fear and panic in a society in an attempt to change some political or social standing. This book was written to not only show some historical perspectives on terrorism, but through fictictional stories that can allow the reader to grasp a better reality of the numerous possibilities that would cause an individual or group of individuals to conduct terrorist attacks. If we can learn to think like terrorists, we can learn to prevent the incidents in which they attempt to conduct. Anyone who knows the least bit about terrorism knows that preventing attacks from happening is virtually impossible, so the next best thing is to learn how to prevent the amount of damage caused by the terrorist attack. This book will hopefully allow the reader the opportunity to gain knowledge on just that: think like a terrorist, steps to prevent the attacks from occurring, and failing that, prevenet the amount of loss (Terrorism, Intelligence, and National Security).
