Publisher's Synopsis

This adventure takes place in the Spring when dandelion seeds are flying through the air. On their way to school one morning, Anton and Stephen meet in the vacant lot on the corner of St. Laurent Avenue and Vaughn Street. They have fun doing wheelies through a patch of dandelions. The boys are thrilled to see the seeds scatter in all directions. Unfortunately, a seed flies into Stephen's mouth as he rides down the bank and he crashes to the ground. He's unable to speak as the seed has caused an allergic reaction in his throat. Anton realizes his friend is in trouble and rides to the school for help. Stephen is taken to the hospital. Minor surgery is performed and Stephen makes a complete recovery. Anton is surprised when he receives a special award at the next school assembly.
