Publisher's Synopsis
In Learning to See from the Blind, we are reminded that life is not easy, as we all can attest. It is full of difficulties and depressions that keep us up at night; and yet we are relieved to find that in the midst of hardship there is still joy to be found in religion, in children, in love, and in forgiveness. Ultimately, these poems speak to the fact that while life is hard, sometimes it is the hard times, the times of blindness, that make it worth the living.
