No falta edición antigua de esta obra, aunque no fue ciertamente de las publicadas en los primeros tiempos de la imprenta. Ya se habían adelantado las más importantes Crónicas particulares de reinados, cuando en 1541 salió en Zamora por primera vez a luz la Crónica General, (vista y emendada mucha parte de su impresion por el maes tro Florian Docampo, cronista del Emperador.
